Getting to and from the park

Walk, Bike, Bus or drive to the park

Festival du Voyageur is located at Whittier Park in North Saint-Boniface (836 Rue Saint Joseph, Winnipeg, MB R2Y 0H8). Parking at and around the park is very limited. We offer and facilitate different modes of transportation to get to the park.

Most importantly, we encourage safe and responsible drinking. If you plan on drinking or have had too much to drink, please do not drink and drive.

Bike to the park

We’re winter people, too. Year round cyclists are welcome! Lock up, at your own risk, at our bike racks right by the main entrance.

PUBLIC TRANSIT

You’re probably no further than 2 busses away. From downtown, you’ll want to catch the 10, 43, 49, 50 or 56. Watch and listen for the “Eastbound Provencher at St-Joseph” stop. From there, it’s about a 6 minute walk northbound on St-Joseph.

To plan your route, please consult Navigo or ask Siri for “bus directions to Whittier Park”.

The 10 and 56 buses have stops close to Voyageur Park. For more information regarding how to get to the Festival du Voyageur site by public transit, visit www.winnipegtransit.com or call 311 (Winnipeg only).

Priority Parking (Voyageur Park): $5.00

Limited parking spots are available at Voyageur Park for $5. We allow overnight parking but request that you pick up your vehicle before 9 a.m. the following day.
