with special guest FAOUZIA – February 17 at the Voyageur Trading Post (CCFM)
Klô Pelgag has imposed herself as a sibylline breath of fresh air sweeping through Quebec’s musical landscape. The emergence of her second album, “L’étoile thoracique”, has exhorted her to tour once more and bring her creatures to every corner of the Francophonie. Taking to the stage as though it were a giant playground while facing a consensual majority that strives to mirror its most beautiful and polite self, she dives head first against the current. It is in this arena that Klô Pelgag, winner of four Félix awards at the latest ADISQ Gala, including “Singer-Songwriter of the Year”, leads her troops towards the improbable while nurturing an illogical desire to surpass herself within the frenzied storm.
Morocco-born and rural Manitoba-bred, Faouzia is a talent to be reckoned with. Combining catchy pop rhythms, heartfelt lyrics, and powerhouse vocals, this teen is gaining new fans across the globe. With a record in the works and performances booking up daily, Faouzia’s star just keeps shining brighter.
